The Rumors of my Retirement are untrue
July 12, 2018Recently, it has come to my attention that many folks feel that I have merged D.E. Rodrigues and Company with Jardim and Marotta in order to retire. This could not be further from the truth! Neither myself, Rose Jardim , nor Christie Marotta plan to retire or sell our practices in the future. The offices are also not being moved in the near future. As was stated in a joint letter mailed to all our clients and posted on the Internet, and in various newspapers in the region, the purpose of this merger was simply to expand our service capabilities to a wider range of clients and provide greater capability of client services to our existing client base, as well as provide additional growth opportunities to our professional staff. I have worked with Jardim and Marotta for a while now, and had known their predecessors for many years prior. We are all like minded individuals who believe in providing quality service to our clients in the New England region and beyond. Nobody is going anywhere in the future, especially myself.
I apologize to anyone who might’ve felt that I was doing anything to the Firm besides growing it. I thought I had done a good job of communicating our objectives but it’s obvious to me that more communication was needed. I hope this posting puts folks at ease with respect to our future as a combined firm. As always we thank you for your continued support over the years and look forward to serve you for many years to come.
Of course please feel free to call any one of us for more information and feel free to visit our new website, www.jmrcpas.com
