The Massachusetts Sick Time Safe Harbor is Expiring
December 26, 2015Just a reminder that after the Massachusetts’ Earned Sick Leave law went into effect on July 1, 2015, many employers were scrambling at the last minute in an effort to comply. That safe harbor law is now expiring on January 1, 2016 and as of that point, all employers must have a sick time policy that fully complies with the law.
